By Order of the Honorable Mayor John Dillard of The Colony, Texas, you are cordially invited to the annual Mayor’s Ball to be held at the Tribute Golf Resort.

Sponsors and Guests will travel back in time to The Golden Age of Pirates! Rub shoulders with the likes of famed pirate Jean Lafitte and his crew of Scallywags, have a saucy conversation with the ever so delightful Delia Card, and be prepared for entertainment in a dinner theater fashion … where music, humor and themed dance performances are timeless.

Please join us for this memorable event on Thursday, October 16th, 2008. Social hour begins at 6:30 PM with a Caribbean Style menu to follow at 7:30 PM. Enjoy the finest Grub & Grog this side of Tortuga!

Tickets are $40 per person for our fine citizens of this and surrounding communities.
We encourage all of our guests to dress in appropriate 18th to early 19th century or Pirate attire to capture the true essence of this experience. So splice the main brace and ‘come about’ to join the festivities!

Our generous Sponsors will receive complimentary tickets as per their sponsorship level benefit.
We will have sponsor tables clearly designated. Please submit the names and contact information for your guests no later than October 8th. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Costumed greeters will be at the door to direct the guests to the sign in table, the terrace for the social hour, and the ballroom at the appropriate time.

Guests will enjoy the breathtaking sunset over Lake Lewisville from the Tribute Golf Resort Terrace.
The dinner program will include:
· Entertainment by a variety of performing artists
· A live auction with all proceeds benefiting PediPlace – a local non-profit pediatric healthcare provider
· The selection of esteemed crew members by the Hobie Cat Skippers
· And other surprises!
